Denial is Not a River in Egypt

Director Brian Westerley is looking for two actors for this staged reading.

The story: A dramedy about Spencer, a young gay man who, while comfortable with his sexuality, still has a problem falling for the wrong guy.  In this case, it's his best friend, Curtis.  Curtis is a straight guy, living with his girlfriend, Cadella, a manipulative shrew who will do anything to hold on to her man.  We also meet Casey, Spencer's ex & now voice of reason, & Erica, Curtis's old school chum.  Together, they do their level best to show Curtis that denial is really only a river in Egypt.

Curtis: 20-35; naïve; gullible; has sexuality issues; a bit of a drinker
