COLORGUARD COACH

PART TIME-STIPEND POSITION

 

The Walsh Jesuit High School Music Department is seeking A Colorguard Coach for 2018-19. This would be a part-time Stipend position. Duties would include the following:

·         Running a weekly colorguard section rehearsal for the Warrior Corps Marching Band starting in August and concluding at the end of October.

·         Writing flag/dance routines for performances

·         Coaching the Summer Band Camp Colorguard July 30-August 4 from 10am-4pm.

·         Running a Colorguard Section Rehearsal 8:45-9:30am once a week and after school once a week as schedule permits

·         Attendance at Football games to prep colorguard, assist the Directors and the weekly Wednesday evening rehearsal from 6pm-8pm.

·         Possible Winter Colorguard Opportunity if interested.

 

Qualifications:

Experience with Marching Band and Colorguard/Dance Techniques

High School Diploma

College/University Degree Preferred

Virtus Training Required upon acceptance
