Cuyahoga Community College advanced film students are casting for their short films. A class casting call will take place November 16th, 2018 at the Tri-C Metro Campus, 2900 Community College Metropolitan Campus, in the Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative arts building 2nd floor. (parking on woodland) from 3:00-7:30pm and November 17th, 1:00-3:30pm. Filming will begin early 2019 and take place in various locations in and around the city. These are one to two day shoots. “Unhaunted” A Comedy Mockumentary By: Brad Daum
Treacher Avenue has a long history of death, which leaves all of the houses haunted, save for one.
Devin - Mid-Twenties. Open race. A pretentious host. Tendency to dress in blacks, leather jackets, and skulls.
Dr. Stanley Still - Late fifties. Open race. Well studied historian. Speaks clearly and succinctly.
Oswald Crowley - Sixties. Open race. Retired police officer. Very straightforward in his delivery.
Local Woman - Early Thirties. Open race. Happy-go-lucky. Very happy to be interviewed. Maybe too happy.
Local Man - Late Thirties. Open race. Annoyed that he’s being interviewed. Just wants to get home.
Trevor - Mid-Twenties. Open race. A sound man only in this job for the money. Not entirely confident in his abilities yet.
Robert - Early thirties. Open race. A ghost who died in the early 1970s. Very aloof about the fact that he’s dead.
Mark - Late-Twenties. Open race. A cameraman and grip-electric who’s been burned by the industry. Irritated by Devin and his pet project.

Creatively ambitious young interior designer of the same firm. Forced to serve the Phantom and becomes trapped in the House. Struggles with this isolation.

Eerie man who haunts the house and whoever happens to enter it. Holds significant power over those he is in a scene with. Plays a sadistic trick on the Interior Design Director.

A mysterious, wealthy man who organized the summoning ritual. He’s initially friendly, but is revealed to be impulsive, aggressive, and dishonest.
“The Haunted Woman” Narrative By: Angeline Walsh
Imprisoned in a room while on a mandated “rest cure” at a country home, a woman loses grip on reality when she notices a sinister being living in the wallpaper.
PROTAGONIST (WOMAN): An unnamed woman, mid-to-late 20s. Suffering from a nervous breakdown and gradually descending into madness.
THE WOMAN IN THE WALL: To be played by the same actress at the protagonist, a strange and mysterious figure who lives in the walls. She is an alter ego of the protagonist, freely mad and uninhibited.
JOHN: The protagonist’s physician husband, late 20s to 30s. He is domineering, condescending, and arrogant.

A desperate young man battles with his thoughts to rob others for the greater good of his family.

“A Way Out” Narrative By: Orlando Santiago
Growing up in the inner city is hard and it is no different for Ricky. He was raised in the streets facing the everyday struggles of crime and neighborhood thugs. All while looking for a way out and discovering his calling.
Ricky: 18- 24, Race Open, Urban He is a determined and often misunderstood inner city kid. A very self-motivating person
Roger: 18 – 24, Race Open, Urban He is a strong self-centered guy, the neighborhood thug who bullies and intimidates to get his way.
Titus: 20 -28, Race Open, Urban, He is a very smart, funny, and outgoing. He loves to have fun and joke around.
“Shadow Runner” Narrative By: Katerina Zizis
A shadow lurks around seeking only one person who loses everyone she knows.
Sarah:
Sarah is a spunky 17-year-old girl. She gets home from work to find that all of her family members are gone.
Mom:
Sarah’s Mom is 39-55 years old. She Works hard keeps the house clean at home when her children are working and going to school on the side.
Logan:
Logan is a 18-21 years old. He picks on her any chance he can get because that’s what siblings do.
