We have a foam bell that was used for a student production of Hunchback at the University of Akron.  It is not small, but it is not too heavy.  On the inside (which is also uniformly painted), there is a knocker.  It doesn't ring but will swing.  A photo can be provided by emailing dd37@uakron.edu.
