Julie Gilliland shares her experiences as recently appointed Beck's Director of Marketing. She reveals her vision for expanding Audience Development, and assisting in the growth and development of Beck's new web site. She and Scott chat about their Beck creative ambitions for the future, including a Gund grant which will help Beck expand its role in the arts. 

Scott Spence's enthusiasm is obvious as he chats about Beck's impressive 85 year history, and its contribution to the arts. Along with receiving the Gund grant, he is especially thrilled that Beck recently became a full Equity house. Scott directs Nicole Sumlin in the one-woman "Lady at Emerson's Bar and Grill, musical direction by Ed Ridley.

A singer since being a toddler, Nicole brings her tremendous acting and vocal talents to "Lady Day."  Many audiences may recognize her for her multiple performances on stages in the greater Cleveland and Ohio areas. A consummate professional, Nicole gives viewers insights on how she  prepared extensively for the role of the legendary Billie Holliday, both as an actor and vocalist.
