Auditions for “The Wedding Singer”  

Based on the 1998 New Line Cinema film starring Adam Sandler, this romantic musical comedy features an 80s-inspired score of original songs and features a large cast with lots of featured opportunities.   

Auditions will be held by appointment on Thursday, August 29 from 6:00PM - 9:00PM and Saturday, August 31 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.

All roles are available. No Equity contracts are available for this show. 

Invited callbacks, if necessary, will occur the afternoon of Sunday, September 1.  Rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 9.  The show runs November 8 - 23.

The show will be directed by Tim Anderson, music directed by Ryan Bergeron, and choreographed by Reilly Davidson.  

Those auditioning should:

• Plan to attend only one day of auditions. 

• Be familiar with the show and its music and themes.

• Prepare two one-minute, contrasting songs (one up-tempo, one ballad), at least one of these should be a rock song in the style of the show.  

• Bring sheet music in the correct keys, hole-punched in a three-ring binder.  Singers will not be permitted to sing a cappella.

• Bring a list of conflicts between September 9 and November 23.
