The Musical Theater Project (TMTP) is seeking an individual to perform community outreach activities during the months of February and March 2025 in order to promote TMTP’s March 23rd performance
of “Legendary Black Singers – Great Broadway Songs Volume 2.”
We expect this individual to attend 10 performing arts and/or Black History events in the Cleveland Area spending approximately 2 hours at each (handing out promotional materials and talking
about the concert.) This work would be done on a contract basis, and the compensation would be $1,000 ($500 paid at the signing of the contract and $500 to be paid upon completion of the project). We’re looking for someone with great communication skills to
engage members of Cleveland’s Communities of Color to generate interest in TMTP and increase attendance at the March performance.
Formed 25 years ago, The Musical Theater Project is a unique “museum,” its doors open wide both locally and nationally. Our mission is to preserve and honor 20th-century American musical
theater in songs, stories and social/cultural history. We guide participants in learning about and making personal connections with the art form’s past by producing local live concerts and school programs, an online discussion series, and national radio programs
and a Grammy Award-winning record label.
