What happens when Cinderella, Jack
of Jack and the Beanstalk fame, the Baker and his wife, Rapunzel, Little Red
Riding Hood and the Wolf, the Witch, Granny, two princes, Snow White, and two Giants
all get together for one big play? You
get Into the Woods by Stephen
Sondheim and James Lapine. The Broadway
musical which originally starred Bernadette Peters and Joanna Gleason has been
made into a movie with Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick and Emily Blunt starring. The Canal Fulton Players will be presenting
this fine work on November 11-13, 18-20 at Puffenberger Auditorium at Northwest
High School, 8580 Erie Avenue NW, Canal Fulton, Ohio. Auditions will be on August 29-31 at Puffenberger
Auditorium at Northwest High School, 8580 Erie Avenue NW, Canal Fulton, Ohio from
7:00-9:00 pm. All people auditioning
should be prepared to read from the script and to sing a song. Please bring sheet music for the piano
accompanist.
All
parts are open and the auditions are open.
Directing and producing the play is David Van Gaasbeek. Assistant Director is Jackie Piatt. The music director is Steven Miller and the
stage manager is Chuck Bonakowski. The
