Cleveland-based Qin Ying Tan, a historical keyboardist, pianist and baroque dancer, will give Medina County audiences two opportunities to hear her play in October. On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in collaboration with the Medina County District Library, Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) will showcase Singapore-born Tan in a live stream Zoom program, which begins at 6:30 pm. The program includes a set of suites from the Baroque era, as well as newly written dance-inspired compositions from the 20th century. On Sunday, October 10, 2021, ORMACO features Tan in its Concerts in the Country series at HeARTland, 8187 Camp Road, Homerville, Ohio, 44235 at 4:30 pm. Tan will present Dario Castello's Sonata No. 2, Francesc Manalt's Sonata No. 5, Heinrich Ignaz Von Biber's Rosary Sonata No. 1, "Annunciation", George Telemann's Fantasia No. 3, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre's Suite in A minor and Arcangelo Corelli's Sonata No. 9.
