Auditions are by appointment only and will be scheduled in ten minute increments. Walk-ins will be accepted if time permits. Please bring 8x10 headshot/resume and prepare 16-32 bars (1-2 mins) spiritual or gospel number and a two minute monologue. Sides will be provided.

ABOUT THE PLAY
In the late great literary giant James Baldwin's classic "The Amen Corner", Sister Margaret Alexander, a fiery minister, heads a storefront church in Harlem while raising her musician son and allowing her estranged husband back into their lives under the watchful eye of her congregation. She is soon confronted and torn between the faith of her church and the love of her family. Baldwin who wrote the classic novel "Go Tell It on the Mountain" and numerous literary works was the subject of the Academy Award nominated "I Am Not Your Negro". Truth, vividness and rich humanity" says The New York Post about "The Amen Corner".
