If people want to gamble like that they can hit up Horseshoe.  This is our jobs and our livlihoods.  If they're going to profit off of our work, the least they can do is pay is for it, not the other way around.

The same crossed my mind at first, but they are giving away almost $2k in
prize money.  I suppose it could still be a scam if the awards are 'fixed' but
in the event the money is given out legitimately (by audience vote, etc) then
perhaps many people would risk the $20 at a chance at $1000.
