Mock Musical Audition Workshop

DESCRIPTION: participants will work on a 16-32 bar (maximum 30-60 second) cut of an audition piece and receive feedback/tips for successful auditions. Participants will also receive a complimentary performance resume review (via email outside of the workshop).

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 15-20 performers can be accommodated for an hour workshop, with unlimited audience (“view only”) participants.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: performance resume and sheet music for the accompanist: cut clearly marked, in a binder, in the correct key. If no cuts are marked, they will do the first 30 seconds of the song.

COST: Free

We hope many people attending our OCTA NE Regional Festival on June 22 will take us up on this workshop. Ellie held similar workshops here last summer and garnered rave reviews from those who attended.

Ellie studied Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at Baldwin-Wallace University, and has been teaching private voice lessons since 2014. She is an active performer in NE Ohio, and has been a featured singer with City Music Cleveland, the Brothers Lounge, and the Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra in recent years.
