Jean Zarzour is a 30-year veteran performer in TV, Film, Theater, Radio, Dance, Improv and Corporate Communications in the U.S. and for 2 years in England, Wales and Italy.  She has appeared in feature films opposite Taryn Manning, Seth Rogen, Joe Pesci, Stanley Tucci, Mercedes Ruhell, James Coburn, Rob Lowe, Clint Howard, Marc Singer, Lynn Cohen, Jon Dore, Hank Azaria and Jake Gyllenhaal.  T.V. credits include Chicago PD, Devious Maids, Detroit 187, Candid Camera, America's Funniest People and hundreds of TV & Voice Over Commercials. She has appeared in 5 Off-Broadway productions and at The Cleveland Play House, Great Lakes Theater Festival, Actors’ Summit, Dobama Theater, Cleveland Public Theater, Ensemble Theater and Berea Summer Theater. Jean also spent 2 years in the production Menopause The Musical, nationwide. TV & FILM Acting  Taught in a group class with no more than 7 others, 8  weeks, 1-3:30pm June 3 - July 22, 2017  $295

Film, TV & Commercial acting differs from any other genre of acting, in every way. It is a more intimate style of acting as opposed to stage acting, which is performed on a broader scale for a live audience, or voice acting, where your interpretation has to provide the entire "theater of the mind" setting for the listener. On-Camera acting, film acting in particular, is "realistic" and can sometimes feel as though you aren't doing anything, but that is far from the case. What happens behind and in your eyes can make the difference between a great or forgettable performance!
