Limited Cast Call

We’ve had great success in identifying several talented NEO actors to fill most of the roles for our film project. However, there are four (4) roles unfilled. Please see below for details.

Payment details: Modest Compensation (Trailer: $25 cash/$50 deferred). Ultra Low SAG equivalent + referrals (Feature: $75 cash/$50 deferred).

Logline: An up-and-coming millennial learns the hard way the importance of respect as his community resists the relentless assault of a Machiavellian-corporation and its Black Widow leader.

 

Unfilled roles:

 

Teddy Carpenter (male, 55+) a wise, OG, who understood the game back in the day and played it skillfully, discretely and successfully. Mr. Carpenter appreciates fine women, a good scotch and well-made clothes. He understands his best days are behind him, understands power, but is uncompromising in his commitment to the anchors of the community, church, family, good neighbors and the underground economy of the Black community. Physical Characteristics: African-American/Latino

 

Sam Suarez (male, 55+), Teddy Carpenter's faithful friend, Sam has the looks, but his humility and loyalty to Teddy masked him understanding his innate charisma. A slim “teddy bear” and somewhat oblivious to the subtle (and not so subtle) ways of women, he will pull a knife in a second and slice a foe down to the bone. Physical Characteristics: African-American/Latino.

 

Nuclear (male/female, 27+) internationally-renowned disk jockey. An introverted, fringe character. He/she is serious about his/her deejaying and though introverted and reclusive, will stop at nothing to maintain his/her position at the top of the DJ community. Physical Characteristics: Exotic or Fringe-look. Very basic (or willing to learn) DJaying skills.

 

Johnny Ales (male, 45+) has been working the door of the Greens since 18. Gets along with everybody, has an easy laugh, quick offensive jokes, but can take down a polar bear if he has to, which is rare. Physical Characteristics: Tall or bear-like, funny/comedic.
