Billy Crystal’s stand-up storytelling gets well-deserved standing ovation

In an interview a few weeks prior to this past Wednesday’s performance at Playhouse Square, comedian Billy Crystal promised the CJN that Clevelanders attending his “Spend the Night with Billy Crystal” would leave feeling as if they had just shared a casual dinner at his table. 

 

Despite working before a near-sold-out crowd of 3,400, being on the far side of an exhausting 36-city tour, and not serving any food or beverages whatsoever, Crystal most certainly lived up to his promise.
