Greetings!
We are currently looking for a replacement singer for the summer Renaissance Festival season.
The Plunder Doggs is a pirate-themed, music/comedy group that has been performing together for seven years. We perform pirate music, sea shanties, sailing songs, as well as traditional Irish music, combined with comedy and story-telling. We occasionally add additional instrumentalists to our performances.
We currently are scheduled to perform at two different festivals this summer and one of our singers is having some personal issues an is unable to perform with us this season.
- We are looking for a singer (male or female) who can sing harmony, as well as possibly taking over lead vocal on a few songs. If you can play and instrument (guitar, fiddle, tin whistle, hand drums & percussion) even better!
- Must be available for ALL of the following dates;
Great Lakes Medieval Faire - Rock Creek, Ohio (Near Geneva)
Saturday July 8 & Sunday July 9
Saturday July 15 & Sunday July 16
Saturday July 22 & Sunday July 23
AND
Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival - Near New Stanton, PA
Saturday August 19 & Sunday August 20
Saturday August 26 & Sunday August 27
Saturday September 2 & Sunday September 3 & Monday September 4
Saturday September 9 & Sunday September 10
Saturday September 16 & Sunday September 17
Saturday September 23 & Sunday September 24
- Must provide your own costume. However, we may be able to help with some items.
- Singer will be paid a daily rate, plus a split of any tips received.
- We can provide transportation and lodging if necessary.
