Lighting Designer/Immersive Lighting Environment Creator

Academy For Dramatic Arts is seeking a lighting designer, specifically someone with experience with Haunted Houses/Amusement Park Displays for their summer production of  The SpongeBob Musical  running July 24-27, 2025 directed and choreographed by Josh Landis. We’re looking for someone who: 

>Loves to work in a collaborative environment
>Believes in the power of youth theatre and how it can transform a person’s life.
>Understands lighting in an immersive environment and can help transform a space

>Can take a vision and, using their own creative freedom, deliver a beautiful ending product
>Doesn’t take themself too seriously 

>Loves to have fun and laugh!

Rehearsals and performances will be held at Christ United Church, 23114 West Road Olmsted Falls, OH 44138.

AFDA is a community of people that happens to make great theater and guarantees a safe place for youth to be transformed by creativity.
