A NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK ROLLING WORLD PREMIERE
It’s a month before his first day of college and Baltimore native Dontrell Jones III wakes from a dream that will change
his life. Haunted by visions of a great-great grandfather who lost his life on a slave ship during the Middle Passage, the young man’s unconventional journey begins with swimming lessons and ends in a boat drifting into the Atlantic. A magical, modern day
story about answering the call to connect with the past.
