Fairmount Center for the Arts gallery will be exhibiting the work of Lolo Mary Mangual, The Journey of Truth and Wisdom, and will run
from April 1 to May 19, 2017.
Lolo was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in a small town, Chambersburg,
PA. Lolo’s art exploration began
at Schenley High School in Pittsburgh, PA. In her words, “My art is as deep as my heart, ever digging and looking to
understand love and all that it entails in every facet of my life. This is what drives me to paint and it’s what draws
others to respond to my work because they want to understand this as well. Like writing or talking, I want to make my
point quick. I don’t like waiting long periods of time to paint. The feelings flow through me and onto the
canvas.”
She is currently represented by the Mac
Worthington Gallery of Contemporary Art in Columbus, Ohio which has been
recently recognized as the Best Gallery in Columbus for 2016.
An opening reception begins at 7pm with a gallery talk starting at
7:30pm. For more information, go to our website,
