Ballet Company Hosting Elegant Halloween Masquerade Fundraiser

Ballet le Reve, a pre-professional ballet company based in Canal Fulton, is presenting their first annual Masquerade Ballet Ball fundraiser October 23, 2015.

The event will take place from 7 to 10pm in the ballroom of the historic Onesto Lofts in downtown Canton, and will feature hors d’oeuvres and desserts from local restaurants, as well as a cash bar, dancing, silent auctions, and raffle items.

"We are so excited to host the Masquerade Ballet Ball at the newly-renovated, Historic Onesto Lofts,” said Ballet le Reve’s President, Danielle Kimble. "The ballroom is exquisite; complementary for our seasonally inspired performing arts event."

The highlight of the evening will be two performances by the talented dancers of Ballet le Reve.  In addition to repertory pieces, this event will also feature a premiere of selections from Act II of Petipa's "Giselle", as staged by Ballet Le Rêve Artistic Director Nurzhan Kulybaev.

Tickets are on sale now, and are available by visiting www.balletlereve.yapsody.com.  Prices are $75 for adults and $40 for children under 18.  Attendees are encouraged to don masks with their cocktail attire, and children are invited to dress in costume to this family-friendly fundraiser.  Proceeds from the evening will support the company’s goal of staging a full-scale production of Giselle.
