1913. Atlanta, Georgia. A teenage girl is found murdered in the factory where she works. The town wants justice at any cost, and all eyes turn to her supervisor, a Brooklyn Jew who has never fit in with the southern way of life. Grief, ambition and tragedy come together for a beautiful and stirring musical that challenges our own prejudices.
