When Fanny Was Free by JosephineDuClos
Fanny, a trans woman, is facing incarceration in a male prison. Taking place in her jail cell, she recounts her life before prison and invites the audience into her imagination, full of hopes and dreams for the future when she’s released. Fanny is blunt, messy, uncanny, and a performer at heart, creating a unique relationship to her audience in this intimate one-person show.
This production of When Fanny Was Free is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.--
