Stow Players is pleased to present a fall writing workshop "Anyone Can Be a Playwright: Tell YOUR Story". This class is free and presented in partnership with ArtsNow in Summit County (https://artsnow.org/).
This class is taught by local playwright and Stow resident, Brandi Eaton. She is an actor, director, and internationally published and award-winning playwright. Her writing credits include Matt’s First (Real) Thanksgiving - a full-length play that has been performed multiple times around NE Ohio. Brandi is the current director of the cast of Murder in the Mansion, an interactive Murder Mystery that takes place yearly at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens in Akron.
This course will explore taking characters and situations based on personal experiences and the diversity of environment and culture to allow for artistic expression and communication of a variety of backgrounds and viewpoints.
6 Saturdays of Classes November 1 through December 6 with a final production/staged reading on December 13. We have three different age groups meeting at different times
