BEREA, OH – The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University presents Stupid F##king Bird (Sort of Adapted from The Seagull by Anton Chekhov) by Aaron Posner, directed by new directing faculty member René Copeland.

Love is so f##king hard. So is making art. An aspiring playwright aches to make theatre an agent of change, in revolt against the commercialism his famous actress mother revels in. Everyone loves someone who loves someone else, and meanwhile “the world is inconceivably broken”. In this irreverent remix of The Seagull, no relationship is spared scrutiny, even the one between actors and audience.

Stupid F##king Bird is presented by special arrangement with Dramatist’s Play Service, Inc. New York
