YOUNG ACTORS WANTED!

CVLT’s Shields Players seeks fifteen to eighteen actors, ages 16-19 for a two week workshop course / production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Cast members will meet July 17 -21 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and July 24-28 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Additional evening technical rehearsals will be called during the second week of the workshop.

Performances in Chagrin Falls Riverside Park will be held on July 28, 29, and August 11 at 7:00pm.

All cast members must audition on either June 18 from 2:00-4:00 or June 19 from 5:00-7:00. Auditioners must come prepared to perform a Shakespearean monologue of 14-20 lines; lines need not be memorized.

Please plan to stay for the entire audition time, as actors will be asked to do some improvisation and readings from Midsummer.

Cast members will pay $125 for participation in this educational theatrical production.
