Hi All! 

We are super happy to be bringing a great actor, and wealth of knowledge on everything "acting", to Cleveland!

Alex Collins is a 20+ year member of SAG-AFTRA, with experience in both the L.A. and Atlanta markets; as an actor, content creator, producer of both union films and live theatre, acting teacher, audition coach, and industry consultant.


Join us for a total of 13 hours of instruction and exercises! It is a great opportunity to build your skill and confidence levels, and will be a great addition to your resume!

Day One: One Hour Drama


Alex will begin with a review of his Audition Preparation Guide followed by “rules” of TV Drama from his Bootcamp course. Then day one will be concluded with a Self-Tape Seminar. For the Self-Tape Seminar everyone will receive a scene prior to, and are required to submit a self-tape. Self-tapes will be reviewed and feedback will be given. Students will then have the opportunity to work live for the group based on the feedback given from their self-tapes. Then students will get a second chance to take more redirects from Alex. Each student will get the opportunity to work live multiple times.


Day Two: TV Comedies and Dramedy


Day two will begin with a review of the Multi-Cam “rules” as well as the hybrid Dramedy “rules” from Alex's Bootcamp course. Students will be given a scene in advance. The day of, students will get paired up and be given a short opportunity to rehearse. Partners will then work their scenes “live” on stage, get notes throughout, and work again. The styles we will focus on will be Multi-Cam, Aaron Sorkin and Amy Sherman-Palladino. Students will be split into either a Multi-Cam group or Aaron Sorkin/Amy Sherman-Palladino group. All review notes will be shared with the whole group.

We will close the workshop with a Q&A with Alex.

Most recently, he starred in season 2 of The CW's Stargirl as Dr. MidNite.

While motivating and positive, Collins also brings a no-nonsense sense of honesty to his teaching style, focusing more on the practical realities of working in today's industry.

Collins has shared the screen with some of the industry's biggest heavyweights, like Tom Cruise, Woody Harrelson, Mahershala Ali, Cynthia Erivo, Jon Bernthal, Michelle Monaghan, David Harbour, Sam Worthington, Garret Dillahunt, and Jimmy Smits; working with directors like Clint Eastwood, Rob Reiner, and Doug Liman.
