Auditions!

We are announcing auditions for an original and exciting new piece called Extra Ordinary Beauty. This play examines moments of beauty in people’s everyday life. This performance will involve an ensemble of actors, singers, dancers, and any other performers and artists who wish to audition. The ensemble will help create the piece, contributing both improv as well as personal stories to the final piece.

The show will run for one weekend, April 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Rehearsals will begin in mid-February.

Auditions will be February 6 and 7 from 4-6 pm with possible callbacks February 8 or 9.  

The location is the Royce Hall for Fine and Performing Arts located on the campus of lake Erie College in Painesville, OH.

Our ensemble will be 5-10. Any age (HS and up) or experience level considered. All casting at Lake Erie College is made without regard to gender, race, disability, or age. Any auditions in need of accommodation should contact Dr. Jaffe jjaffe@lec.edu).

The auditions themselves will be based primarily on improv. Come dressed to play and with a ton of creative energy. Singers, dancers, or “other talents” may provide whatever additional material they wish.
