AUDITION DATES: Auditions will take place Sunday, May 5 and Monday, May 6 from 6:30 - 9:00pm. It is not required attendance both days.

*Please accompaniment or bring sheet music - an accompanist will be provided. Upbeat tunes or songs from the show are suggested.

*Come prepared to read from the script.

*Wear comfortable clothing for the dance audition.

* Please bring a list of conflicts for the rehearsal period that may include Sunday through Thursday evenings. No conflicts during tech week and performance dates.

ABOUT THE PLAY

From the Libretto - “Mamma Mia is a romantic comedy, contrasting the dreams and aspirations of a 70’s girl and a 90’s girl. Through the storytelling magic of the songs of ABBA, we meet Donna, a feisty, independent single-parent, who doesn’t need a man to make her life complete; and her twenty-year old daughter Sophie, who wants romance, babies and a big, white wedding. If only her father could give her away… If only her mother could tell her who her father is… Sun, sea, sex and subterfuge are the backdrop to this tale of the women who wanted to have it all, and the girls who want happy ever after. And has anyone asked what the men want?”

CASTING: Roles for actors entering the freshman year of high school and up. All roles are open. Actors appear in Little Theatre productions on a volunteer basis. All vocal ranges are on the MTI website.

REHEARSAL DATES: Sunday – Thursday evenings 6:30- 9:00pm

PRODUCTION DATES: June 28, 29, 30 and July 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14

Performances: Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm. Sundays at 2:30pm.
