While some members of the 2021 company return, many roles are open for this year’s production including Jovie, Emily Hobbs and Deb, as well as numerous supporting and ensemble roles. Age ranges needed are 8 thru 50. Non-AEA only, as our 2 AEA performers are returning. All actors 18 and over are compensated for their participation. Also, all actors are eligible for EMC (Equity Member’s Candidacy) points/weeks for this production.

Open Call auditions will occur beginning at 6PM on Sunday, Oct. 2nd and beginning at 5PM on Monday, Oct. 3rd. These auditions are by appointment only and should be made by calling the Beck Center Box Office at 216-521-2540 during normal business hours. Video submissions for open call auditions are also being accepted in lieu of in-person auditions, if preferable. The deadline for video submissions is Sat., Oct. 1st. For either option, please prepare one vocal selection not to exceed 90 seconds. Please bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided.

Callbacks will occur the weekend of Oct. 8/9, and will include a dance call at that time. It is expected that all call-backs will occur in person.

“Elf” rehearsals will begin on Sat., Nov. 5th, with the possibility of a select day or two the prior week. “Elf” opens Dec. 2nd and plays thru Dec. 30th. The show is dark from Dec. 24th thru Dec. 27th for those hoping to do minor traveling during the holiday week.
