Dobama Theatre is announcing non-AEA auditions for the upcoming 46th Annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival (MBKPF) Adult Ensemble. Dobama Theatre is looking to cast between 12 and 15 adult actors of all sizes, ages, ethnicities, and genders who will rehearse multiple plays* by young writers in May and perform in June of 2024. All roles are compensated.
*The MBKPF consists of around 10 plays written by local students ages 6 to 18. The plays will be chosen in April of 2024, so roles in each play will be determined at a later date. Those cast in this adult ensemble will be notified of specific casting and/or callbacks on a show-by-show basis as soon as the winning plays are announced. Youth auditions will take place in April.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled audition to check in and fill out audition forms. Come prepared to move, improvise, read from sides provided, and collaborate with your fellow auditioners. You will be auditioning for Carrie Williams, Education Director, and Erin E. Dolan, Director of Programs, of Dobama Theatre and other members of the Dobama Theatre team.
