Singers Companye is a semi-professional chamber choir based in Akron, OH.   Current members are music teachers and music professionals most of whom have advanced degrees in music.  Rehearsals:  Wednesday nights from 7-9:30 PM in Akron.  This is an adult SATB choral ensemble

Skills required:  1.  Excellent vocal technique that is adaptable to ensemble singing and issues of performance style;  2.  Strong sight-reading skill;   3.   Challenging choral background and experience working on demanding choral repertoire;  4.   A passion for choral singing and the repertoire;  5.  Commitment to excellence;  Two solo pieces are required for the audition, one in English and one in another language.
