     about “The Healing Arts”

These one-act plays and scenes portray individuals struggling with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety due to loss. These themes offer great insight to the struggles many share.  The “Healing Arts” project also features community mental health professionals and performing artists in the fields of vocal and instrumental music, dance, poetry and more.

Have you noticed the new TV commercials promoting prescriptions and medical resources to help those experiencing mental health challenges? Be sure to join us to see how the arts, also, can be used to help relieve challenges associated with mental health issues.

Go to wualstudio.org to see YouTube Videos showing the role of medical health organizations and Performing Artists which Help Soothe and Heal Mental Health Challenges, experienced by men, women, teens and children.

The Pandemic of 20021 and 2022  has caused ongoing  increased manifestation of problems resulting from life issues such as, illness, isolation, loss of income, & other major losses, resulting in mental health problems which may be solved in non-clinical ways. We wanted to highlight the issues in a different way . . . By showing how performing artists’ use a variety of ways to help soothe and heal mental health challenges.
