Project Name & Synopsis:

Beautiful Dreamer is a heartfelt, character-driven story that follows Neil and Molly from the spark of their first date through the life they build together—full of love, conflict, growth, and deep connection. What begins as two people stepping just outside their comfort zones quickly becomes something far greater: a shared life shaped by friendship, family, and the quiet, meaningful moments that define a lasting relationship.

As their story unfolds—from young love to marriage, children, and the passage of time—it is interwoven with a present-day reality in which Neil lies in a hospital bed after a tragic accident. Moving between past, present, and imagined future, the film explores the profound impact of love, the fragility of time, and the legacy we leave behind. At its core, Beautiful Dreamer asks: what does it truly mean to share a life with someone—and what remains when that life is over?

Molly – Female, 21–30, open ethnicity
Bright, charismatic, and grounded, looking for both stability and spontaneity in love.

Raphael – Open gender/ethnicity, 30–40
An “old soul,” deeply invested in Neil and Molly’s relationship.

Raphael’s Partner – Open gender/ethnicity, 25–40
A warm, supportive presence within the friend group.
Neil (Older) – Male, 55–70, open ethnicity
A man reflecting on a life of love after loss.

Doctor – Open gender/ethnicity, 40–60

Detective – Open gender/ethnicity, 35–50

Non-speaking roles:
