Lakewood Young Filmmakers Academy Summer Camp is THE ONLY CAMP of its kind in Ohio! A two week filmmaking camp June 19-30 at THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON - LAKEWOOD, in which students, ages 12-17, will work together to write, shoot and edit a
real film (A MYSTERY IN LAKEWOOD) from start to finish with the help of award winning industry
professionals serving as instructors and counselors.
Then on July 6 they will attend a red carpet premiere of the film at THE CAPITOL THEATRE where their movie will be seen by an audience of filmmakers,
media, fans, friends and family.
