Geauga Lyric Theater is looking for qualified candidates over the age of 18 to fill the following positions in our summer youth workshops:

ART DIRECTOR (Stipend $640 each)  

Elementary Drama, Oliver Twist

Elementary Musical, Alice in Wonderland

Tween Drama, Hunchback of Notre Dame

INSTRUCTOR ASSISTANT

Junior Workshop, Snow White (Stipend $180)

Tween Drama, Hunchback of Notre Dame (Stipend $540)

Teen Musical, Singin' in the Rain (Stipend $540)

GLTG Shakespeare Summer Festival Auditions 

As You Like It 

Directed by Angela Miloro-Hansen

Auditions: April 15, 6:00-8:00pm

                 April 16, 1:00-4:00pm

Geauga Lyric Arts Center at 106 Water St, Chardon, Oh 44024

Ages 11-18 eligible to audition

Looking for 10-15 males, 5+ females. Roles will be double cast, and some may be gender switched.

All roles are open, rehearsals will be M-Th, 4:00-6:00pm, possibly Sundays

Auditioners should prepare a short (one minute) Shakespearean monologue. Be prepared to read from the script.

The show will open at GLTG for two weekends, alternating with an adult performance of Twelfth Night, then tour to locations through July.

Twelfth Night Auditions

Auditions: April 17, 18   6:30-9:00pm

Ages 18 and over eligible to audition

Looking for 10-12 men, 3 women, either a man or woman for role of Feste

All roles are open, rehearsals will be in the evening, M-Th, possibly Sundays

Auditioners should prepare a Shakespearean monologue no longer than 2 minutes. Be prepared to read from the script. Men and women auditioning for Feste the clown should also prepare 16 bars of a song, preferably Elizabethan in style.

The show will open at GLTG for two weekends, alternating with a young adult performance of As You Like It, then tour to locations through July.
