FILMMAKING CAMP FOR TEENS

Located in historic Playhouse Square, CSU’s Odyssey Program offers 4 different residential or day camps for teens (aged 13-18) interested in filmmaking. With access to the film school's professional soundstages and production equipment, Odyssey participants learn screenwriting, acting, directing, cinematography, and editing.

  *   All Camps taught by CSU faculty.

  *   All students will develop a College Admissions Interview video.

Experiential Three-Week Camp,  June 11-June 30, 2023

  *   Students complete their own individual film project.

Intensive: Acting and Directing,  July 9-July 16, 2023

  *   Student Actors perform on professional soundstages & Student Directors edit live in TV Control Room.

Intensive: Screenwriting, July 16-July 23, 2023

  *   Each Student’s script has a Staged Reading.

Intensive: Postproduction,  July 23-July 30, 2023

  *   Student complete their own individual film project with emphasis on  storytelling through editing.
