CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — Chagrin Valley Little Theatre (CVLT) is proud to announce the appointment of Robert Dana "Skip" Regan as its new Executive Director. Regan brings a wealth of experience in both theater and hotel management, with a proven track record of successful leadership and operations in various industries.
A graduate of Chagrin Falls High School, class of 1969, Regan has deep ties to the community, having been an active donor, past performer, and even a part-time janitor for CVLT in the mid-1960s. His extensive background in theater administration includes roles as Box Office Manager and House Manager for the Lyceum Theater's 1980 renovation in San Diego, as well as serving as General Manager of the Lyric Dinner Theater in La Mesa, California. In addition to his theater experience, Regan has held several key positions in hotel management, including Director of Hotel Operations for a portfolio of ten San Diego lodging properties.
In his new role as Executive Director at CVLT, Regan will oversee the day-to-day operations of the theatre, which includes the 248-seat Main Stage, the 65-seat River Street Playhouse, and other facilities. His responsibilities will encompass box office management, administration, volunteer coordination, and facility maintenance. He will also work closely with the CVLT Board of Directors to ensure the smooth running of all events, productions, and CVLT’s initiatives.
“We are thrilled to welcome Skip back to the Chagrin Falls community and to our family at CVLT,” said the CVLT Board of Directors. “His diverse experience and deep commitment to community service make him the perfect fit for this role. We look forward to the positive impact he will have on the theatre, our patrons, and our stakeholders.”
Regan has spent the past decade in Birmingham, Alabama, serving as a family caregiver, and he is eager to return to his roots in Chagrin Falls to support his aging siblings and contribute to the local community through his work at CVLT. His dedication to service is further demonstrated by his recent involvement with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Action Team Member.
The
Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, now in its 95th
Season, is excited to embark on this new chapter
under Regan’s leadership and invites the community
to join in welcoming him to the team.
