Position: Oberlin Summer Theater Festival seeks a technical director/Master carpenter to supervise construction and rigging of three show rep season. This is a 7-week, temporary position working 5/20 – 7/5/2019.

Responsibilities: Manage and assist in the construction, load-in, and rigging of three productions: supervise shop workers (including College interns), assist in developing building drawings, order materials, maintain the shop and supplies, and assist in technical rehearsals as needed. Job ends after third show opens.

 At least 2 years of technical theater experience, especially in scenery construction. Degree in technical theater preferred.

 $3500 - $4200 total compensation (depending upon experience).  Housing may be available.
