Leaps of Faith
Cleveland Play House, America’s first professional regional theatre, is currently embarking on its 101st season, a landmark for the American Regional Theatre. We are republishing a limited
edition of the definitive history of CPH, Chloe Oldenburg’s Leaps of Faith (originally published in 1985), with additional chapters by CWRU Professor Jeffry Ullom. The only way to guarantee that you receive a copy is to contribute to
this campaign.
The book traces CPH’s growth from humble beginnings in 1915 to its momentous Centennial Season. Its richly illustrated chronology explores trailblazing theatre education programs, details hundreds
of productions, and celebrates the dedication of those who have steered, supported, and secured the theatre’s outstanding achievements.
Based on level of sponsorship, rewards include posters; Facebook shout-outs; copies of
Leaps of Faith; recognition of sponsorship in the book, this season’s playbills, and our website; and reserved seating for a screening of a documentary about CPH.
