Congratulations to Kevin Scheid, named Best Director, for his short film, "In the Weeds," at Cleveland State's School of Film and Media Arts, 2019 Student Show and Reception, Wednesday, May 8th.

"Wake Up And Live With the Arts" recently interviewed Kevin about his project, which featured an amazing cast, including James McGilbray and Mary Lu Franks, two of Wake Up And Lives Actors Studio "Own."

Kevin, CSU film student, chats with Sue Johnson, Host, about CSU's School of Film and Media Arts, now completely operational. Kevin describes the variety of film & media-related programs being offered. Kevin will be in the first class of graduates. He is also an independent filmmaker who is in the process of developing his short film project, "In the Weeds." Kevin also invites viewing audiences to attend the upcoming short film free showcase, Cleveland Cinematique, May 8th. "In the Weeds" was one of several creative films selected to be showcased at the film festival.
