Shaker Heights, OH – Arts Radio Network, parent company of the Arts Radio Network Theatre Project and a longtime presence in the South Florida arts community, is pleased to announce the creation of a new podcast.  On the Boards will be dedicated exclusively to the vibrant Northeast Ohio theater community. Hosted by veteran public media host Caroline Breder-Watts, the podcast will feature interviews and discussions with the movers and shakers of theater companies throughout the region.  In addition, On the Boards will have two regular features:

·        Timesteps: The Northeast Ohio Theatre Oral History Project – modeled after the beloved NPR series StoryCorps, Timesteps are intimate conversations between the leaders of theater companies, initiatives and partnerships that have been in NE Ohio for more than 10 years.  The recordings will be archived at www.artsradionetwork.com and will provide a historical record of theater in the region.

·        Sound and Effect – ARNTP’s Artistic Director John Watts will discuss the many facets of radio drama and overall theatrical sound design and speak with experts in the field.
