French Creek Youth Theatre Camp is looking for a Tech Driven Counselor for this year’s production of Highschool Musical Jr.

Camp Dates: June 24^th -July 27^th (opening night) M-F 9am-3pm at French Creek Nature Center

Responsibilities for the Tech Lead Position include:

·         Creating daily lesson plans for a group of up to ten students that will be on a “tech only” track. This group will remain under the direction of the tech lead for the entirety of camp.

·         Assess, assign, and train individual campers for tech positions for the show.

·         Supervising the tech crew during the performances.

·         Arriving on time and preparing for camp each day. M-F 9am-3pm.

·         Have a willingness to help with all camp games and morning warmups.

Qualifications

·         Candidate must have an extensive knowledge of two or more technical aspects of theatre.

-          These aspects include Sound Design or Board Operation, Lighting Design or Board Operation, Set Design, Set Building, Costume Design, Props Management, Run Crew, or Stage Management.

·         Candidate must have experience working with children in an educational environment.

·         Candidate should be comfortable working alone and in a group setting.
