This zany play follows the story of a man who brings his new-ish boyfriend home to experience his first "out" Thanksgiving … However, he's not all the way out to his family. Throw in a feisty grandma, a wacky aunt, and a sister with a secret of her own and it's a Thanksgiving none of them will forget.

Actors, please prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue. Auditions will be held via video submission and zoom appointment. Please submit your video and resume by 9pm on Saturday June 26 to rdzake@gmail.com (Youtube or Dropbox links preferred).

Zoom auditions will be held on Sunday, June 27th by appointment between 7pm and 9pm. Please go to the SignUp Genius linked to this event to sign up for a 10 minute slot. Zoom links will be sent to auditionees the day-of.

We will hold callbacks on Wednesday June 30 from 6-8pm at Cassidy Theatre. These will be held in person, and we will have you read various scenes from the script.

Rehearsals will begin the week of 7/5, both via Zoom and in-person. The production will play before a live audience August 13, 14, 15, with a date up to two-weeks prior to record the production to be streamed the same weekend, in addition.

Matt Quin: (30s - 40s) Recently out, bringing his newboyfriend Jason for Thanksgiving.

Becky Quinn (20s-30s): Matt's younger sister and best friend.

Jason Myles (20s): Matt's new boyfriend, very young and animated.

Elaine Quinn (50s - 60s): Matt and Becky's mother.

Violet Murray (70s - 80s): Elaine's mother, Matt and Becky's grandmother.

Calvin Quinn: (50s - 60s) Matt and Becky's father.

Deke Jordan (20s-40s): Becky's ex-boyfriend, handsome and obnoxious.

Dahlia Madison: (50s - 60s) Elaine's older sister.
