The Star On My Heart is an original play, written by Ohio writer and theater director Angela Miloro-Hansen, about Holocaust survivor Inge Auerbacher.
Of the 15,000 children that were imprisoned in the Terezin concentration camp, Inge is one of the few that survived. This is a story of rare courage, determination and love. Inge, in spite of the hardships she endured, gives proof that the joy in life cannot be kept out of even the darkest places. Dr. Auerbacher will travel to Ohio to attend the play and to give presentations. The Star on My Heart is an independent project in collaboration with Shore Cultural Centre in Euclid, OH and Geauga Lyric Theater Guild located in Chardon, OH.
