Amélie, with book by Craig Lucas, music by Daniel Messé and lyrics by Nathan Tysen and Daniel Messé is a "tuneful love story with a sophisticated score!". "Pure joy! An unabashed crowd-pleaser!" says Entertainment Weekly. HBTI's production of Amélie runs for 6 performances: June 26 - July 5, 2020. It is directed and choreographed by Bebe Weinberg Katz, musical direction by John Krol, set and projection design by T.Paul Lowry with costume and prop design by Vanessa Cook. Newsday says Amélie has bushels of imagination and the Telegraph says Amélie abounds with heart."

Amélie is an extraordinary young woman who lives quietly in the world but loudly in her mind. She covertly improvises small but surprising acts of kindness that bring joy and mayhem. But when the chance at love comes her way, Amélie realizes that to find love she'll have to risk everything and say what's in her heart. Be inspired by this imaginative dreamer who finds her voice, discovers the power of connections and sees the possibility around every corner. Roles available from grade 4 through college.

HAIR - The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical with book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. HAIR won the Tony Award for best rival of a musical in 2009. HBTI's production of HAIR runs for 6 performances: July 24 - August 2, 2020. It is directed and choreographed by Dan Hendrock, musical direction by John Krol, set and projection design by T.Paul Lowry with costume and prop design by Vanessa Cook. HAIR opened on Broadway in 1968 and became the archetype musical of the 60's, the love song of the flower-children generation. Clive Barnes of the New York Times describes it as "so likable, so new, so fresh and so unassuming, even in its pretensions. It is the first Broadway musical in some time to have the authentic voice of today rather than the day before yesterday." The 1968 hippie rock musical remains relevant as ever as it celebrates community, identity, politics and peace.  Roles available from 8th grade through college.
