Rehearsals begin Monday, April 8^th, 2019 and will be held Sundays - Thursdays 7:00-11:00 PM.

 

The production is scheduled to open May 17th and will run through June 2nd; with performances on Fridays & Saturdays @ 8:00 PM, and Sundays @ 2:00 PM. There will be one 8:00 PM performance on Thursday, May 30th.  There will also be two 10:00 AM School Matinee Performances on May 22^nd & 23^rd.

 

DIVERSE AND NON-TRADITIONAL CASTING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL ROLES.

 

All roles are available with the exception of Captain E.J. Smith. Please see the character breakdown below.

 

Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song that best shows off your vocal ability.  Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key, double sided, in a three ring binder. An accompanist will be provided.  In addition, please bring a current photo or headshot/resume if available. 

 

Auditions are by appointment only.  Time slots available are as follows:  

Tuesday, April 2nd: 6:00PM, 6:30PM, 7:00PM, 7:30PM, 8:00PM, 8:30PM, 9:00PM, 9:30PM

 

Dance Callbacks will be held Wednesday, April 3^rd.

Principal Callbacks will be held Thursday, April 4^th.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN OF ROLES AVAILABLE:

 

*Thomas Andrews (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 30s-50s) Designer of the RMS Titanic. Level-headed and passionate.  Strong, dramatic actor and singer. Bari-Tenor.

 

*Frederick Barrett (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 18-30s) Stoker, romantic, rugged, handsome, physically fit. English Midlands accent, Tenor.

 

*Alice Beane (Female, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-40s) Tenacious, aspirational young woman who dreams of being a part of the 1^st class.  Great comedic Timing. Strong Belt.

 

*J Bruce Ismay (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 30s-50s) Owner of the RMS Titanic, 1^st class ruthless business man who stops at nothing to get his way. Dominant. Strong actor. Baritone.

 

*Harold Bride (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-40s) Radioman, compassionate, quirky, loves technology.  English RP accent. Tenor.

 

*Kate McGowan (Female, ANY Ethnicity, 18-30s) Strong, feisty, 3rd Class passenger from Ireland, un-wed expectant mother, determined to create a new life in America for her and her baby. Mezzo/Belt.

 

Caroline Neville (Female, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-40s) Romantic young socialite, escaping to American to begin a new life with a 2^nd class son of a grocer. Soprano.

 

Charles Clarke (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-40s) Heroic young man content with his middle class life and believes he knows his place.  Looking forward to his new life in America with Caroline Neville. Strong actor, tenor. English RP accent.

 

Fredrick Fleet (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 18-30s) Ill fated lookout of the RMS Titanic.  Physically fit, strong actor and floating lyric Tenor. English RP accent.

 

Kate Murphy (Female, ANY Ethnicity, 16-30s) 3^rd Class passenger from Ireland, dreams of becoming a governess in America, Mezzo.

 

Kate Mullins (Female, ANY Ethnicity, 16-30s) 3^rd Class passenger from Ireland, dreams of becoming a seamstress in America. Mezzo.

 

Edgar Beane (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 30s-50s) Hard working owner of a hardware store in Indianapolis, IN. Content with his lot in life. Quick witted, great comedic timing. Strong actor.

 

Etches/Pitman (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-50s) 1^st Class Steward, handsome, physically fit, witty; strong actor, tenor.

 

Murdoch (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-40s) 1^st Officer of RMS Titanic. Strong Actor. Scottish or English RP accent.

 

Lightoller (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 20s-40s) 2^nd Officer of RMS Titanic. Strong Actor. English RP accent.

 

Jim Farrell (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 18-30s) Handsome romantic 3^rd class passenger. Northern Ireland accent. Falls in love with Kate McGowan.

 

Isidor Strauss (Male, ANY Ethnicity, 40s-60s) 1^st Class passenger, owner of Macy’s Dept store.  German-Born Jewish-American.  Warm, gentle, and compassionate.

 

Ida Strauss (Female, ANY Ethnicity, 40s-60s) Calm and content member of the 1^st Class. German-Born Jewish American. Warm and loving, very down to earth.

 

Bellboys (Females or Males, ANY Ethnicity, 10-15) Youngest workers on board the ship, must have young, childlike qualities, English RP accent, strong personalities.

 

Ensemble (Females and Males, ANY Ethnicity, 8-60s) Strong Singers and Actors that will play multiple roles including, but not limited to, 1^st Class Passengers, 2^nd Class Passengers, 3^rd Class Passengers, Crew Members, Bellboys, Stewardesses, Stewards, Stokers, Band Members.
