JOB TITLE: Stage Manager
CLASSIFICATION: AEA Casual Employment Rider
REPORTS TO: Director of Production
Cleveland Play House (CPH) seeks a Stage Manager (SM) for our remote Zoom workshop script development of a new play September 24 & 25, 2020, as well as an SM for a separate, second remote Zoom workshop script development of new play October 20-23, 2020. This SM will work with the director, playwright, cast and CPH staff. The Casual Employment Rider (CER) position is an AEA contract, but non-AEA members are welcome to apply. Local residency is not required; candidates can work from any location, and local and non-local applicants are accepted.

Duties include:
· Communicate key information with artists and staff
· Plan, distribute and manage daily schedule
· Run rehearsals and possible internal CPH reading
· Create and distribute daily rehearsal reports
· Manage Zoom platform, possibly including breakout rooms, supported by CPH staff
· Manage script edits with dramaturg and playwright
· There will be no presentation of these workshops to a public audience
