Audition notice for Hudson Players fall production of Play On! by Rick Abbott Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Directed by; June Organ Auditions will be held on September 13 and 14 at 7pm at the Barlow Community Center, 41 S. Oviatt St. Hudson, Ohio. Performance dates are; November 6,7,13,14,15,20,21. Anyone auditioning should be prepared to read from the script. A perusal copy of the script is available at Hudson Public Library. Please bring an up to date resume. Head shots are welcome but not required. Play On! is the hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does. When the authoress decides to give a speech on the state of modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax with a thoroughly hilarious romp.
