Add a little nostalgia into your life as you take a trip 'Up & Down the Radio Dial' with the Note-Oriety Showchoir tonight (Thursday), Friday (6/17) and Saturday (6/18)!!! Reliving some of the most memorable music of the century, the Note-Oriety Showchoir, under the direction of R. Scott Posey with accompaniment by Ann Michael and a five-piece orchestra, will have you tapping your toes and humming along to such favorites as Under the Boardwalk, Mambo Italiano, Jailhouse Rock, and California Dreamin'. The 30-member adult performing ensemble will be groovin' to hits like Jackson 5's I'll Be There, U-2's Beautiful Day, Ray Charles' Hallelujah I Love Her So, Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and the Bruno Mars hit, Uptown Funk. This year's production promises to entertain pop music enthusiasts of all ages and musical tastes, combining beautiful arrangements, creative costuming, scintillating choreography and an imaginative set design! The show is at 7pm on June 16 and 17 and 2pm on June 18 in the Solon High School Auditorium, 33600 Inwood Road in Solon. Tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, and $5 for children. Note-Oriety Showchoir is a non-profit organization that has specialized in the performance of American popular music for more than 45 years. Formerly known as "The Selrec Singers," the group has performed at Playhouse Square, the Hard Rock Rocksino, the Lake County Captains' games and at events and communities throughout Northern Ohio. The group recently performed for the second time with the band Foreigner. Members come from a wide variety of backgrounds but all share a love of music and live performance!
