The Brecksville Theatre announces Auditions for Love Letters and Vagina Monologues Directed by Brittni Addison Monday Dec. 4th and TuesdayDec. 5th (callbacks) 6:30-9:30pm Auditions held at the Old Town Hall Annex 49 Public Square Brecksville ,Ohio For Vagina Monologues: Seeking a diverse cast of 6-12 women+ eager to engage in a truly ensemble-based experience. While actors cast will be assigned specific monologues, all members of the ensemble will be on stage for the entire performance, creating space and setting mood through physical and vocal presence. The ability to work as a team is vital. The ability to move, sing, or play an instrument is a plus, but not required. Anyone who identifies as a woman+ is encouraged to audition, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, body type, ability, or sexual orientation. For Love Letters: Seeking two individuals who can portray their characters from childhood through adulthood. A strong command of language is desired, as is the ability to manifest the characters physically at different stages of their lives. Andrew Ladd, III (Andy) - Any age- can play 7-70. A professional politician. A rule follower. An over-achiever. Melissa Gardner - Any age- can play 7-70. Fun loving. Thrill seeking. Somewhat self-destructive. The audition: Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues, totaling no more than 3 minutes combined.
